If you create an ad with a website for mall display’s why wouldn’t you include a QR code?
This makes no sense. Give users the ability to go to your website in real time.

Totally agree… I think 4th Quarter of this year they will be everywhere. I know our agency is starting to use them on ads, putting them next to phone numbers etc. I think its time brands start considering mulit-screen strategy!
Great infographic on QR codes… If you dont know what they are, this should help.
Every business should be aware of the potential QR codes provide.
I’m a sucker for a good infographic. So when I came across this one from JumpScan, complete with scannable QR codes and Godzilla, I couldn’t resist sharing. Check it out, and scan a few codes along the way.
Don’t have a barcode scanner? You’re missing out. I recommend RedLaser or ScanLife

This is a big deal… it has been demonstrated time and time again that Apps opened to the all mobile phones are successful. The QR code I would argue is here to stay!

Sir Richard Branson talks about business…
It leaves me considering…
Am I learning?? There is a difference between information and learning…
How far can a brand pushed or stretched
What makes a success
How would I motivate
How important is traditional education
What is the roll of business in helping make the world a better place
Its also good to know he has Dyslexia, I do as well. It is part of the reason I am able to think the way I do. I am not sure I would change it.
A bit long but quite a bit awesome.

Foursquare Surpasses 5 Million Users
Apparently foursquare is growing by leaps and bounds… Seriously mobile is legit in 2011. If you aren’t prepping a mobile plan you are going to be behind by 2013 (unless the world ends in 2012 in which case who cares)

I am not a huge fan of Hootsuite in general I have used it quite a bit… it does the job ok.. In general there are better tools out there… What I find more interesting about this is that hootsuite has only reached 1 million users. This client does have a strong monetization element going and it is the only tool advanced many people know about. IMO cotweet should be shopped as another option to this, as they both have ping.fm integration. I think I am going to look at the android app in the near future though. Also the First API with a strong Twitter FB and Tumblr integration will win… for that my money is on tweetdeck!
The phone is a computer in disguise. It’s what people use to give them the best software experience. In one sense, maybe the ultimate goal is to come as close as possible to holding the software. Holding the software and making the phone as invisible as possible.
