I would much rather use twitter than blackboard. Twitter allows me to create lasting meaningful relationships with people in my classes, where blackboard are one and done exchanges. There is no reason college students should be walking away without a tightly formed social network online…

How the Web Is Re-Inventing Employee Training (Infographic) | Fast Company I wonder if there is a further trickle down effect to educational institutions. As the web gets more interactive including the growth of video content it seems like its just a matter of time before online degrees mean something. I personally get more out of online classes especially when there are lectures to “attend” via webinar/ itunes.   I think sitting in a classroom is a little outmoded, however I think face to face networking courses will need to be added. (They probably should be added now anyway.) Interpersonal skills still matter and those are skills that need to be cultivated.  What do you think? (Comment or reply)
