The issues for parents with kids on the web are complicated and numerous. Notice that percentages for understanding privacy between kids and parents are just about equal. With this data one can infer that the better educated the parents are the better educated kids will be.

Report: Use Of Third-Party Twitter Clients Dwindles To 42 Percent
Interesting… It appears that new Twitter is better than old twitter. Third party apps no longer dominate the space only 42% of tweets now come from 3rd party clients.
Also IMO the official twitter app on my phone is good enough that adding another app doesn’t add much value.

Why QR Codes Will Go Mainstream [OPINION]
Totally agree… I think 4th Quarter of this year they will be everywhere. I know our agency is starting to use them on ads, putting them next to phone numbers etc. I think its time brands start considering mulit-screen strategy!

Lets talk tumblr… themes…
Tumblr can be many things, including your blog… I want to share how I use the network and some tips I have learned along the way in this series.
Themes…
If you are a wordpress blogger you can build a custom CSS theme, so your tumblr matches your wordpress blog. (You do have the option to sell them) If you are not tech savy, or you don’t know what CSS is there are literally hundreds of options, give your self a few hours and have fun.
Most themes have very simple Disqus integration. (More on this latter Disqus is a commenting system that allows anyone to comment)
Most themes allow you to customize colors as well…
Addicted to Data?
Many themes have allow you to embed Google analytics through an ID. If that is not an option you can embed analytics script in the info section.
The simple truth…
Don’t expect to find the right theme on the first shot, make your theme a statement about you.
