I have said all along… Twitter is a much better tool for education. Facebook limits the poteintal for live interaction just b/c of the lack of threaded conversations alone. Twitter allows students to develop meaningful long term relationships. Great study very interesting.
One more point… Students with lower household incomes are less likely to use facebook. This means they take college more seriously and are likely on an academic scholarship.

I often say that businesses that are internally social will begin to express themselves in externally Social ways. The key to adoption of social tools are enterprise 2.0 cultures. The tools are irrelevant Social Media is an expression of the culture. Email can be an enterprise 2.0 tool (maybe not a good one) if it is used in a certain way.
Interesting… haven’t checked this data yet but it looks pretty dang close to correct.
Totally accurate… one note the reasons Girls prefer looking at photos with Girls and Guys prefer looking at photos with Girls are vastly different. However if a brand posts photos with Girls they are more likely to get both shares and clicks.
