NEW JOB or in the ad world I have a new agency. (Make Me Social)
I am excited to announce, following the Labor Day Holiday (in the US) I will be starting work with a new agency (Make Me Social) ! I look forward to working with the team at Make Me Social. They are a smart group of people that complement my skill set, and more importantly offset weaknesses.

+K is better than #FollowFriday
+K is a new tool by the folks @klout. In short klout indexes your social feeds to determine how much/where you have influence in the social space. The image is a from the Nakate Projects Klout page. Klout gives me 5 +k’s to use every day this means I have to choose who I give them to carefully. When I give a +K I endorse the influence of that person and I can share it with context.
I have people that follow friday everyone they follow every week on twitter… I wonder why? That type of #FF adds no value and there is no reason for someone to follow that person.
With +K I can provide an endorsement of that person and share my thoughts with the community at large! If you are on twitter you should check it out!

I would much rather use twitter than blackboard. Twitter allows me to create lasting meaningful relationships with people in my classes, where blackboard are one and done exchanges. There is no reason college students should be walking away without a tightly formed social network online…

The new colors of the LA Kings… Great new brand. The Old uniforms are out the old color scheme is out this is the new look for the kings going forward and it is awesome! Oh they locked up a playoff spot tonight too!
