Almost Nothing Dies!!
I keep seeing “this is the death of that” articles. Sometimes they are talking about the newspaper industry, other times its a style of advertising, other times its premuim software… Simple truth almost no industries actually die. Companies yes industries almost never! Industries may shrink to almost nothing, but they very rarely go away altogether.
Next time you see an article saying “this industry is going to die”… remember you can still buy a horse drawn carriage (Its actually an industry with several competitors still making them!) When the internet kills jobs in print, its going to let them be created somewhere else…
